Laser engraving onto metal can yield some impressive results, though not an
easy process.
Since the laser isn't cutting into the metal, we engrave a coating that's
applied to the metal. This is either coated metal that we purchase (e.g.,
anodized aluminum), or we apply a coating that gets bonded to the metal.
Coated metal provides a very limited range of shading and a good level of detail.
For anodized aluminum, dark images on the graphic design turn
the metal coating white. For metals that we coat, the engraving shows up
black when exposed to the laser.
Anodized Business Card Holder
The detail engraved on these business card holders is amazing. For about those plain holders with your initials - put the whole card on the cover. For a more classy business card holder, this style is polished silver, inside and out. Two-sided anodized aluminum business cards provide an unusual medium for memorable gifts. Use Military Tags to create a medical alert necklace, bracelet, or keychain. Using two-sided Military Tags, the laser turns the anodized aluminum white to create great business gifts or identification tags. Although the image is poor, we took a piece of polished steel and applied our marking solution. Then we used the laser to create the black portions of this sheet. Take one of our Military Tags, drill out two holes and you've got a tag that can attach to your horse's halter.
