When it comes to engraving, nothing is as classic as marble. The beauty
of a white image engraved in solid black marble is unparalleled.
Marble is available in various shapes, including tiles. When the laser
engraves the marble, the material under the surface is exposed. The degree
of whiteness depends on the type of marble, varying from light gray to bright
white. We have found a few select tiles that consistently provide striking
white results. We can also color-fill words and designs in white, silver
or gold.
Need a large image? Consider placing multiple tiles together to produce
an image of any size. We engrave the tiles one-at-a-time, but the
resultant image is perfectly aligned.
For our select tiles, marble provides a good range of shading and a high
level of detail. Dark images on the graphic design turn the marble white
when engraved, so final proofs will look like photographic negatives.
